“Glenn, We are on the road to recovery but not there yet. We got home last night, as we had to handle a number of things at Sarah's apartment Sunday and Monday. You guys were outstanding Saturday night. From the very start people were asking me "What band is this and where did you find them?" (the credit for that goes to Sarah). Then once Sarah did her dances with Matt and me, and folks were able to take to the dance floor, the comments and questions even increased. I recall toward the end one guy in his 30s grabbed me and said, "I've been to probably a hundred weddings and without a doubt this is the best band at any of them it's not even close." A big indicator is how many people were still there (and dancing) at the very end. Another indicator is this: after everyone had left, Laura and I went out to my car and it was full of gifts. We were really tired but didn't feel comfortable leaving all of those gifts in the car overnight so we went to Sarah's apartment and unloaded the car. We finally got back to the Hyatt around 1:00 and as we got to the lobby the bar was packed, and we saw it was mostly folks from the reception. Our son Daniel told us later that people didn't want the evening to end and basically overran the bar which required the hotel to go find extra bartenders to handle everything. Daniel said there were still around 100 people there at 1:45 when the hotel closed it down for the night. I can assure you that the people didn't head to that bar because the supply of beverages was limited at the reception. It was because they were all still so pumped from the reception and you guys were a key component of that. The way your band interacted with the crowd was great and it made the evening so much fun for everyone. We also appreciate how you stayed a little longer than normal and took care of all of the special requests, including playing "Mrs. Robinson" for the finale. We will definitely spread the word as we see opportunities to do that, both in Charlotte and elsewhere. In fact, one of my Raleigh partners asked me today for some links to your info. I realize that assuming the price is the same, your favorite venues would be in Atlanta but the Carolinas are probably your second choice because of proximity and the prospects of having audiences like we had Saturday night who really appreciate what you do. I will be glad to serve as a reference for you so if someone asks for one, feel free to have them call me (at work is fine). I will tell my assistant to be on the lookout for people periodically calling about the Atlanta Showstoppers. Please tell the rest of the Showstoppers how much everyone loved the evening and thank them for us. Take care.”

The fact that you all played straight through the evening without a break, kept the energy in the room so high and exciting (we even asked to have you play an additional half hour!)....people we know who normally wouldn't dance MUCH, were on the dance floor practically all the time! “Not normally one to do this, I have to rave about the best party band I've ever heard. At a recent social event, the Atlanta Showstoppers took the stage with the following personnel: several vocalists (men and women, all talented and loaded with stage savvy), a bassist, a guitarist, a percussionist, a keyboardist and three horns. They unleashed a very impressive song list that most bands don't even attempt to play because they're either too difficult musically or too demanding vocally. In fact, 90 percent of what they played I'd never before heard performed live. Not only did the Showstoppers have a go at some very challenging arrangements, but they nailed them. Numbers early in the set included "It's a Shame" (The Spinners, impossible vocals), "The Best of My Love" (The Emotions, ditto), "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is" (Chicago, soaring brass, demanding tempo changes). Selections got a lot more contemporary as the evening progressed...if you really need to rev things up, this would be the group to do it. Get your wallet out though, because you'll pay for what you get.”

“Wedding Reception Have had so many guest come up and comment on what a great show the Atlanta Showstoppers put on. This was the 102nd year of the Redstone Christmas Ball and everyone agreed it was a total success and possibly the best ever. An event such as ours which includes a formal presentation followed by a dance can be tough to program for. Our guests ranged from the college age presentees to their grand parents and great grandparents. You and the Atlanta Showstoppers performed exactly as requested by playing selections that appealed to all ages early in the evening and therefore filled up the dance floor from the minute you hit the stage. As the night progressed you gradually picked up the tempo and continued to keep the dance floor crowded for the whole evening. I was amazed that up until the last song we still had many of our older members on the floor as well as a crowd of the college age dancers. When the music, accompanied by your voices began, it was like liquid electricity poured forth in the room. People stopped talking and turned to look.We could have been sitting in a concert hall, your style and quality were so soul piercing. The musicians played to perfection from the drummer to the guitarists , the keyboard player all topped off by the horns and saxcreated goosebumps! We also had 14 active duty Army soldiers and their wives etc. We also had 5 parents of the active duty soldiers. All of these guys have had extensive deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Several were head back for another deployment. Walker will go to Afghanistan for his forth deployment in December.Most of these guys had not seen each other since graduating from West Point in 2005. My son Walker got to spend the most important day of his life with his wonderful Becca and to hug long lost soldier friends. Your band made this a very special night for these guys.
